Jennifer serves as National Coordinator for Learning Initiatives, on staff with the ABHMS Center for Continuous Learning. Since August 2019 Jennifer L. Sanborn has served as Program Director of In Support of Excellence—a Lilly Endowment-funded initiative of the American Baptist Home Mission Societies’ (ABHMS) promoting financial literacy for clergy and lay leaders. A lifelong American Baptist herself, she has extensive experience in higher education and religious leadership. She is a skilled facilitator and communicator, with a coaching certificate from the Clergy Leadership Institute, Hillsboro, OR.  After earning her bachelor’s degree from Eastern College (now University) in St. Davids, PA, Jennifer went on to secure two graduate degrees, an MS in Higher Education from Syracuse University and an MA in Religious Studies with a focus on spirituality from Hartford Seminary in Connecticut.

Jennifer is trained as a life coach and thrives in intercultural contexts where individuals are empowered and community is advanced.
