Jennifer Stewart, RN, PhD, MDiv, is CEO and founder of Restore Development and Consulting LLC, an organization committed to fostering thriving churches and faith-based organizations through providing expertise in organizational development including strategic planning, change initiatives, and leadership development as well as individual and corporate spiritual transformation. As a consultant, researcher, coach, author and speaker, Dr. Stewart is passionate about restoring vitality to congregations and faith-based organizations through services that promote individual and corporate development and growth. Dr. Stewart’s primary focus has been in strategic planning and organizational change and transformation, which has led her to work with numerous congregations to accelerate the effectiveness of pastors and leaders; to develop and implement transformative ministries; and to build congregational and organizational systems of accountability and infrastructure. The result has been churches that are able to reach their full potential in Christ corporately and in their communities.

Dr. Stewart has also held an academic appointment as Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University. During her tenure she secured more than 1.2 million dollars of grant funding to support work focused on the development and implementation of multilevel interventions for African American churches in Chicago, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. Dr. Stewart has published numerous articles and curricula devoted to the promotion of African American congregational health. Dr. Stewart holds a Master of Nursing from DePaul University, a PhD from University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary. She also holds certificates in Organizational Change Management and Spiritual Transformation from Cornell University and the Transforming Center respectively.

Jennifer has served as a church leader for more than two decades as a youth minister, a developer and leader of small-group ministry, and a leader of operations and infrastructure ministries. She is currently the Strategy and Ministry Director at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Foulkeways at Gwynedd. Jennifer has been happily married for 16 years, has three children, and resides in Abington Township, Pennsylvania.
