Tony Gapastione

Tony is a pastor turned entrepreneur and filmmaker. His life is all about telling stories and collaborating with storytellers. He is founder and executive director of BraveMaker, a nonprofit dedicated to justice, diversity, and inclusion through film and community experiences. He founded BraveMaker as a film arts organization to mentor, support and elevate brave voices through film and create space for transforming community conversations. They host monthly film screenings, panel discussions, and an annual film fest in Redwood City, California as well as hosts a live Youtube showevery Wednesday talking to makers all around the world.

Additionally, Tony is copastor of The Quest Church in Novato, California. He is also a husband and father. He and his wife, three daughters, and their Labradoodle, Cubby, live in Redwood City.

Tony loves creative collaboration behind the camera writing, producing and directing. He has worked on stage and in front of the camera acting, in print and film for thirty years. Originally from Chicago, Tony grew a love for acting through theatre and now lives in Northern California as a SAG-AFTRA actor and filmmaker.
